Tillage change detection
- A two scale thresholding algorithm classifying temporal changes of S1 IW VH due to tillage practices only.
- The algorithm is applied over bare or scarcely vegetated agricultural fields identified either from S2 NDVI or, in case of cloud cover, S1 VH/VV ratio.
- The output is a binary mask at ~ 0.1 km spatial resolution (~ 0.04 km pixel size).
- The validation has been carried out in “Validation of Tilled Change Maps” (D7.13).
